What Is The Business Men's Fellowship?

The Business Men's Fellowship is a men's organization founded by Christian Businessmen in 1995. Its purpose is to express the love of and power of God, working in and through men in everyday life.

These personal, true life testimonies of man, and his relationship with God, are given at regularly scheduled breakfast, lunch or dinner meetings. The stories reveal God's love and desire to be a vital part of man's life, both now and forever.

The Business Men's Fellowship sponsors men's spiritual weekends, where men are able to reflect on their relationships with both God and family. They hold regional and national conventions where men of national prominence speak of God's personal involvement in their life.

The Business Men's Fellowship is a group of men who desire to serve God with their lives, and are willing to help others to do the same.

DOES GOD CARE ABOUT ME?

You will hear men speak of God's healing power when sickness and disease are overcome by prayer and faith in Christ. (James 5:15)

Many will tell how they prayed for new business and received more than they expected. (Ephesians 3:20)

You can expect to hear men speak of marriages and relationships being restored. (2 Corinthians 5:17 18)

DISCOVERING YOUR PURPOSE

Hearing personal testimonies of lives filled with purpose will soon cause a breakthrough in your own life. It happens when this and other scriptures come alive within you: "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2: 10)

Simply stated, God created man and in the process planned and offered a path in life for every person. He gifted us with abilities and talents to meet our needs and the needs of others, so that in the end, we might find purpose, peace and fulfillment in life.

A THREEFOLD PLAN

  1. To witness to the presence and power of God in the world today through the testimonies of laymen in the marketplace.
  2. To provide a basis of Christian fellowship among all men everywhere through an organization that is not directly associated with any specific church, but cooperating with all those of a like mind.
  3. To inspire the members of the fellowship to be active in their respective churches, to be a service to the Church of Jesus Christ.

WE ARE DEDICATED TO:

  • To provide an opportunity for Christian Fellowship.
  • To bring a greater unity among all peoples of the Body of Christ.
  • To train and equip men to fulfill the Great Commission.
  • To reach men in all nations for Jesus Christ.
  • To call men back to God.
  • To help believers be empowered with the Holy Spirit and grow spiritually.
  • To seeing each man reach his fullness in Christ.

STATEMENT OF BELIEF

  • We believe in one God. Maker of all things and being in Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, became incarnate, was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man.
  • We believe the Bible, in its entirety, to be the inspired Word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and conduct.
  • We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
  • We believe in the personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in Divine healing, through faith, and that healing is included in the Atonement.
  • We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 as distinct from the new birth, and also in in the nine gifts of the Spirit listed in I Corinthians 12, available to all believers.
  • We believe in the Christian's hope of the imminent, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in intensive worldwide evangelization and missionary outreach in accordance with the Great Commission with signs following.
OUR BEGINNING
OUR VISION

Every work of God is birthed and developed by the Holy Spirit of God. Late summer of 1995, the Spirit of God began to draw men, who were leaders of men, to come together and seek God's direction for their lives. An inner expectancy began to grow, causing these men to travel from the regions of the world to Kansas City, Missouri. Upon arrival, they were filled with a passion for evangelism in today's marketplace the business world. They came to see, hear and be encouraged. In the final hours of that September weekend, a prophetic word was spoken which brought vision, faith and peace. The Holy Spirit brought focus to these points

  • It was a word of encouragement, confirming that the Spirit of God initiated the gathering of men.
    You are gathered for My purposes and intentions."
  • It directed us toward building a salvation ministry.
    " Harvesting combines will bring in the Harvest."
  • It spoke of a growing international organization:
    "Going forth from this land"
    " You will become mighty threshing devices"
  • It envisioned the Holy Spirit's Power, working through ordinary laymen, when Jesus' Name was called upon.

    THE VISION IS ALIVE AND MOVING

    The Business Men's Fellowship International has grown to be global in size and ministry. Service Centers are located in Canada, Europe, South America, Southeast Asia and the United States of America.
