A number of chapters have inquired as to the proper procedures for affiliating with Business Men's Fellowship USA and dealing with their existing chapter affiliation with FGBMFI. After prayerful deliberations and legal consultation, the following are suggestions for handling these issues in an ethical and legal manner:

1. The chapter leadership should convene a properly noticed business meeting of chapter members to discuss the issues of affiliating with Business Men's Fellowship and handling their existing chapter affiliation with FGBMFI. The notice should include a statement that copies of the material in the Kansas City Meeting Reorganization Packet will be made available for review by all interested chapter members prior to and at the business meeting. After appropriate discussion, a vote should be taken to ascertain if any members desire to form a group and apply for chapter affiliation with Business Men's Fellowship USA.
2. If there are at least ten chapter members, and they unanimously vote to apply for such affiliation, the chapter leaders should do the following:
   1. The financial affairs of the FGBMF1 chapter should be wound up. A motion should be passed as to the disposition of any funds remaining in the chapter treasury, which should address the following issue: Any moneys due to FGBMF1 or nay other creditors should first be paid firs; the balance, if any, should then be gifted to FG BMFI or nay other 501 ( c 3 ) organization; and the treasurer should then render a final written accounting.
   2. Once the affairs of the chapter are so wound up, it should notify FGBMF1 in writing at Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International that it thereby terminates its affiliation as an FGBMFI chapter and surrenders its charter, effective immediately.
   3. The group leaders should then complete and send to Business Men's Fellowship USA a Chapter Affiliation Application Form and accompanying New Membership Application Forms and checks for payment of membership dues (see Chapter Starter Kit documents).
3. If there are some chapter members who desire the chapter to continue affiliation with FGBMFI, if there are at least ten (10) members who desire to affiliate with Business Men's Fellowship USA, the departing members should form a group, elect leaders, and their leaders should then complete and send to Business Men's Fellowship USA a Chapter Affiliation Application Form and accompanying New Membership Application Forms and Checks for payment o membership dues (see Chapter Starter Is' it documents). In that event, the departing members should find a new meeting place and commence to conduct their meal meetings there. They should in all ways treat the remaining members with all due respect and brotherly love, and pray for the prosperity of God's work 'in the FGBMF1 chapter.
