Meet the Business Men’s Fellowship!

We are business owners, plumbers, insurance men, electricians, scientists, racecar drivers, lawyers, construction workers, computer specialists, students, and executives—we’re men from every walk of life. We are young, middle-aged, and senior citizens. We come from every race, ethnic background, and denomination.

Though our differences may seem many, our lives bear a common thread—we have all experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ and have each found purpose, value, and meaning in Him.

Our History:

In September 1995, a number of Christian men from across the USA came together in Kansas City, Missouri to discuss and explore marketplace ministry. They all carried the vision for an organization that could not only bring Christian businessmen together, but could also provide a setting that could reach out to others. It was at these meetings that Business Men’s Fellowship USA was birthed.

The following year saw BMF expand into an international organization.

Today, BMFUSA numbers over 150 chapters and growing. BMF chapters span the globe--in Canada, the United Kingdom, Central and South America, the Far East, and the nations of Europe.

Our Purpose – Our Dedication:

To change the culture of the marketplace!

The men of Business Men’s Fellowship are changing the culture of the marketplace by:

Meetings and Programs:

Local Chapters

Each chapter of Business Men’s Fellowship has its own uniqueness. The men of BMF recognize that different localities have different preferences and needs. They also recognize the time-constraints of the world we live in. Chapters hold regularly scheduled breakfast, luncheon, or dinner meetings where a speaker is invited to share the story of his life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ.

Chapters may opt to hold men-only meetings. Others hold meetings open to general attendance.

Many chapters hold a monthly home prayer meeting, where men can come and freely speak their personal prayer request and receive encouragement and support.

Changing the Culture of their Marketplace

The men of BMF are also involving themselves in activities that are changing the culture of the marketplace. Some sponsor highly successful golf tournaments to benefit other ministries or programs. Others sponsor sports programs to benefit youth organizations. Most often, the meal speaker will be a professional athlete who tells the story of his encounter with Jesus.

Chapter members are visiting nursing and retirement home residents, letting them know that God has not forgotten them in their final years of life.

Just as dedicated are the BMF members who regularly visit local correctional facilities, bringing inmates the good news and opportunity for change through Jesus.

Regional and National Meetings

BMF’s National Service Center periodically schedules “Encouragement Weekends” at regional sites. BMF also holds a Mid-Winter Conference and Leadership Meeting and an annual National Convention in the summer.
