he Radio Show "The BMF Hour" hosted Answer Magazine editor Bus Swyers via telephone. Buz shared his views on what the Fellowship means to him plus a few testimonies.

Steve Fabretti called in and asked Buz several questions about the vision. he seemed most interested as to if we went on the streets to reach men.

Steve indicated that he would join us for the breakfast meeting.

raise The Lord! The New Year is starting off with a bang. Our 3rd breakfast meeting and three guests attended. Evangelist Rosetta Thomas and her Husband Elder Willie Thomas and Daughter Riunite. Rosetta told me "I don't believe a person should have to meet alone and that is why we are here". (Of course she also is a person of her word and we all know that The Holy Spirit was at work.)

They have a weekly radio show , "Righteous Moments", on KKVV 1060 AM every Sunday at 11:00 AM. Powerful teachings and words of encouragement.

Steve Fabretti called and told me he was sorry that he had to miss the breakfast as he had an emergency to take care of.

After breakfast we adjourned to a meeting room and had prayer. What a beautiful way to start your day. Our 3rd Meeting and 3 guests. I thought to myself, "I wonder what The Lord has planned next?"

SINGING IN THE NIGHT

Read: MATTHEW 10:26, 41

Don't Be Afraid; You are worth more than many sparrows. Matthew 10: 31 (NIV)

I couldn't sleep; my stomach was upset; I was hot.

Anxiety about financial problems overwhelmed me. I couldn't get comfortable. My mind was racing. I prayed "Lord where are You? What am I supposed to do?"

God answered me through a sparrow's song. Perched in a tree outside my bedroom window a sparrow started to sing.

Birds don't sing at night; they sing at dawn and dawn was still hours away. I was annoyed. Why was this silly bird singing in the middle of the night, in the heart of darkness?

It took me three days to recognize God's message to me.

In my darkness I can sing. When I was in the depths of despair, God reminded me of the words from a Gospel Song. "His eye is on the Sparrow and I know He watches me".

Suddenly I knew that I was not alone. God watches over me even in the darkest of times.

This was sent to me by a man in prison. I thought I would share it with you.

his was the 4th show since we started. I aired a pre-recorded testimony of Myrl Allender. I taped this in 1989 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel meeting in Beverly Hills, California. What a powerful message and it still applies today. I will be playing part 2 next week. I had one caller who wanted to know "who is that guy speaking. He is really good." That tells me that people are paying attention.

January 10, 2004

ur 4th breakfast meeting and two men showed up. Al Thomas and a friend of his named Jack. Al has a radio show, Best Home Based Business, on KKVV Sundays from 12:30 - 1:00 PM. He has been with Excel for 13 years and has been very successful. Al was a member of FGBMFI, so he understands what we are trying to do. I hope that he wants to be a part of the vision for BMF.

His friend, Jack, feels that being a part of the Fellowship is a way to give back to God for all He has done. Jack told me "it must have been God that brought me here as I usually am not up at this time of the morning."

Please pray that the Holy Spirit will work in both of their hearts to continue with us and join the Fellowship.

It was a good time of sharing and we had a short prayer in the restaurant as Al had another meeting to attend. After we prayed, we all left the restaurant.

The waiter had seated a man at our table as he thought he was part of our group. I introduced myself and briefly explained who we are. I gave him an Answer magazine and a mini tract. He didn't stay long but he did stay long enough to hear three men sharing Jesus. The rest is up to The Holy Spirit.

Thought For The Day:

IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES

If I knew t'would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew t'would be the last time I'd see you walk out the door,
I'd give a hug and kiss to you and call you back for more.

If I knew t'would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted in praise,
I 'd video tape each action and each word, so I could play them day by day.

If I knew t'would be the last time, I could spare a min or two
I'd stop and say, "I love you," Instead of assuming you know I do.

If I knew t'would be the last time I'd be there share your day,
causel I'm sure you'll have so many more, this one can slip away.

For surely there's tomorrow to make up an oversight,
and we always get a second chance to make everything all right.

There will always be another day to say our "I love you",
and surely there's another chance to say our "Anything that I can do?"

But just in case I might be wrong, And today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we'd ne'r forget,

Tomorrow is not promised to, Young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance You get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow, Why not do these things today?
For if tomorrow never comes, surely you'll regret the day,

That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or kiss
And you were just too busy to grant someone their last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today and whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them and you'll always hold them dear,

Take time to say "I'm sorry," "please forgive me", " it's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

how number 5. I aired the second part of a pre-recorded testimony by Myrl Allender. I taped this in 1989 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel meeting in Beverly Hills, California. I announced that there may be a possibility of Col. Allander being our first speaker when we start our banquet meetings.

January 17, 2004

t is a positive sign when someone shows up for the second meeting. Praise The Lord; "Jack Came Back" Jack is really being led by The Holy Spirit. I asked him to stay in prayer about what part The Lord will have him play in BMF. Keep praying as I believe we are about to make a breakthrough. The ad's and the radio show are about to reap a harvest.

Thought For The Day:

THE INCOMPARABLE CHRIST

More than nineteen hundred years ago there was a Man born contrary to the laws of life. This Man lived in poverty and was reared in obscurity. He did not travel extensively. Only once did He cross the boundary of the country in which He lived; that was during His exile in childhood.

He possessed neither wealth nor influence. His relatives were inconspicuous and had neither training nor formal education.

In infancy He startled a king; in childhood He puzzled doctors; in manhood He ruled the course of nature, walked upon the waves as pavement, and hushed the sea to sleep.

He healed the multitudes without medicine and made no charge for His service.

He never wrote a book. and yet perhaps all the libraries of the world could not hold the books that have been written about Him.

He never wrote a song, and yet He has furnished the theme for more songs than all the songwriters combined.

He never founded a college, but all the schools put together cannot boast of having as many students.

He never marshaled an army, nor drafted a soldier, nor fired a gun; and yet no leader ever had more volunteers who have, under His orders, made more rebels stack and surrender without firing a shot.

He never practiced psychiatry, and yet He has healed more broken hearts than all the doctors far and near.

Once each week multitudes congregate at worshiping assemblies to pay homage and respect to Him.

The names of the past, proud statesmen of Greece and Rome have come and gone. The names of the past scientists, philosophers, and theologians have come and gone. But the name of this one Man multiplies more and more. Though time has spread nineteen hundred years between the people of this generation and the mockers at His crucifixion, He still lives. His enemies could not destroy Him, and the grave could not hold Him. He stands forth upon the highest pinnacle of heavenly glory, proclaimed of God, acknowledged by angels, adored by saints, and feared by devils, as the risen, personal Christ, our Lord and Savior.

We are either going to be forever with Him or forever without Him.

It was the Incomparable Christ who said:

Come unto Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
(Matthew 11:28)

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
(John 14:6)

how number 6. My guest, Bill Shuck, had to postpone for one week so I gave my testimony. Bill will be my guest next week.

et for breakfast at 7:00 AM. I arrived early and trusted that The Lord would lead Jack Back again. He showed up at 7:05 but told me that he had to leave at 7:30 as he was a part of a committee for North Las Vegas. We had prayer and fellowship and Jack left at &:30 AM. I stayed until 8:00 AM and as no one else showed up I left.

Thought For The Day:

What’s With the Fork?

There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and had been given three months to live. So as she was getting her things "in order", she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what outfit she wanted to be buried in. The woman also requested to be buried with her favorite Bible.

Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. "There's one more thing," she said excitedly. "What's that?" came the pastor's reply. "This is very important," the woman continued. "I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand." The pastor stood looking at the woman, not knowing quite what to say. "That surprises you, doesn't it?" the woman asked. "Well, to be honest, I'm puzzled by the request," said the pastor.

The woman explained. "In all my years of attending church socials and potluck dinners, I always remember that when the dishes of the main course were being cleared, someone would inevitably lean over and say, 'Keep your fork.' It was my favorite part because I knew that something better was coming...like velvety chocolate cake or deep-dish apple pie. Something wonderful, and with substance! So, I just want people to see me there in the casket with a fork in my hand and I want them to wonder, "What's with the fork?" Then, I want you to tell them: "Keep your fork....The best is yet to come".

The pastor's eyes welled up with tears of joy as he hugged the woman good-bye. He knew this would be one of the last times he would see her before her death. But he also knew that the woman had a better grasp of heaven than he did. She KNEW that something better was coming. At the funeral people were walking by the woman's casket and they saw the pretty dress she was wearing and her favorite Bible and the fork placed in her right hand.

Over and over, the pastor heard the question, "What's with the fork?" And over and over he smiled. During his message, the pastor told the people of the conversation he had with the woman shortly before she died. He also told them about the fork and about what it symbolized to her. The pastor told the people how he could not stop thinking about the fork and told them that they probably would not be able to stop thinking about it either. He was right. So the next time you reach down for your fork, let it remind you oh so gently, that the best is yet to come.

Thank You Lord for this great story, that I will always remember, and help me to always remember where all my food comes from, and all of my other tremendous blessings. Please forgive me when I might partake and forget to ask Your blessing. Especially at Thanksgiving, help me to remember the poor, and for all those others less fortunate today and everyday.

I ask it all in the Name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. AMEN!

how number 7. Bill Shuck was my guest and he gave his testimony. I had to cut him short as we ran out of time. I told him I would like to have him next week to finish his testimony. The station manager Fred Hodges called and told me how much he enjoyed the show.

raise The Lord Jack showed up again. I think that he will be a regular. Anyone that makes a meeting when he has to leave a half hour later, because it was a 30 minute drive to his other meeting, is committed. I look forward to the breakfasts to see what God is going to do.
