ell here we are in October and Fall is upon us. Summer has faded away and I fear so has the BMF Las Vegas Chapter.

Scott Renkes called me earlier in the week and told me this may be the last time will be able to meet at the house as there have been some new developments with his Ministry. He told me that five of the men who lived in the house had left and it looked like the house was going to have to be returned to the owners. He said he wouldn't be able to attend this week's meeting as he was waiting to see the homeowners to make the final arrangements and told me he would make arrangements for the house to be opened so we could meet.

Scott Emmert met me at my home and we drove together to the meeting. I shared the topics that had been discussed previously and that we were waiting for a sign from the Lord to see if we would continue to meet. It doesn't look like we're going to see ten members by next week and that was a part of the prayer that there would be ten committed members attending for six weeks.

I seem to remember reading that Demos arrived at the same point with the man he was meeting with and decided at their last meeting if the Lord did and give them a sign this would be the last meeting. I am not sure what happened but I know the fellowship was born that day some 80 years ago. I wonder if the same thing is going to happen with us?

Scott Emmert told me if we couldn't continue meeting here that we could meet at his church as he had the keys to the building. I thanked him but I told him I wasn't sure how we can get the word out so the people would know where we would be meeting. He said that he would talk to some of the people in the church and see if they would be interested. I told him I would see if I could get the original list from Scott Renkes and call some of those people.

I guess we'll just have to wait ad see what is going to happen as I intend to follow the Lords leading and if we do not have the committed members I will take it as a sign the BMF will not succeed here in Las Vegas. Some may say my faith is weak, and they may be right, but why should we ask the Lord to show us the way and, when he does, we don't follow it?

Do we think we can build without the Lord in the plans?

called Scott Renkes to find out if we could meet at the house this Saturday and he told me they would be turning off the power Friday. I guess there won't be a meeting unless Scott Emmert has a plan. Maybe we will meet someplace for breakfast.
